To Report an Absence:

It is preferred that parents use the "Absence Request" feature in Skyward Family Access to report an absence.

Alternatively, parents can call the Attendance Office by 10:00 a.m. or send an email with the following information. Please state clearly:

• Student's full name (please spell last name)
• Date of the absence
• Reason for the absence
• Your relationship with the student
• Phone number where you can be reached

For Late Arrivals: 

Please call the Attendance Office by 10:00 a.m. or send a note with the following information. Please state clearly:

• Student name (spell the last name or print)
• Time student will arrive
• Reason why they are late
• Your signature

For Early Departures: 

When information is given to us to contact your student, the information will be given at the beginning of the following hour.  If it is an emergency situation that your student be contacted, we will go to the classroom and contact your student personally.

A note or a phone call must be given to the Attendance Office before school starts with the following information:

• Student's name
• Reason for the absence
• Time student should be released from class
• Your signature

Prearranged Absences: (Absences known in advance)

If your student will miss two or more days in a row, please make sure to submit a pre-arranged absence form. Hard copies are also available in the attendance office. You must complete it and return it one week before your absence.

Prearranged absences can be for:

• Vacations or extended weekends
• College visits
• Hunting trips
• Surgery
