Visual Arts Department Mission

The Cedarburg High School Visual Arts Department is committed to the belief that art and life are inseparable. Involvement in the arts enhances students’ creative problem-solving and communication skills, which are integral to their intellectual development. Our goal is to assist students who have a universal need for artistic/creative expression and communication in achieving a lifelong appreciation for the arts and the cultural diversity provided by exposure to the arts, while acquiring the skills necessary for creative independence.
