School Resource Officer (SRO)

A School Resource Officer (SRO) is a law enforcement officer who is assigned to work within a school or educational institution. Their primary role is to maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and faculty. SROs build positive relationships with students, providing a visible and approachable presence on campus. They may also educate students about law enforcement, safety, and legal issues, as well as collaborate with school staff to address any security concerns or incidents that may arise.
