Use of arrow keys when focused on the Google language option field will translate site content on the fly. Use your enter key to review all options and choose your selection before applying.
Obtain your application online from the post-secondary school's website. Some colleges will have their own online application to complete, while others will use the Common Application.
Complete the online application and pay the college application fee.
Link your Xello and Common App accounts and upload any non Common App colleges to your Xello account.
Request a letter of recommendation from a teacher if necessary. Ask in person and well in advance, giving your teacher at least 2 weeks to write a letter. If they agree to write you a letter, request a letter of rec in Xello. Complete a Letter of Recommendation Request Form to provide your teacher with additional information. Remember to thank them for writing your letter.
To officially send your ACT or SAT scores to colleges, use your myact.org or www.collegeboard.com account. If necessary or preferred, you will need to send official copies of your score report directly from the testing agency to complete the college application process.
Watch for application deadlines! Some schools have scholarship deadlines that may come earlier than their regular admission deadline.
