Welcome to Thorson Elementary!

I am excited to return to the Cedarburg School District as Principal of Thorson Elementary. With twenty years of experience in education, including a decade teaching at Webster, I am eager to continue my journey at Thorson.  

My approach is focused on making decisions that prioritize the best interests of the students while providing support to our staff and families in every possible way. I firmly believe in nurturing each student's academic abilities and fostering a collaborative culture to support student growth. I am committed to offering whatever support is necessary to help students reach their full potential as they continue to grow.

I look forward to establishing meaningful connections with students, staff, families, and community members throughout the school year to ensure that all students feel valued and safe while encouraging them to take risks and achieve high standards. It is an honor to work in and lead such a wonderful school community.
