Welcome to Parkview Elementary!
Parkview has a long history and tradition of academic excellence. We have a commitment to nurturing the whole child through a caring and supportive learning environment with a strong sense of community. Our staff is driven by our relentless pursuit of growth and success for each student. We work tirelessly to ensure that each student feels truly valued, respected, safe, and challenged.
Parkview Elementary has been recognized as a model Professional Learning Community (PLC) at Work®. We are one of around 500 Schools and Districts in the US and Canada to receive this honor. We have received this honor due to our commitment to the PLC at Work® concepts and clear evidence of improved student learning. Through these concepts, our teams are continually data-driven, aligned, and focused on the four PLC questions:
- What do we want all students to know and be able to do?
- How will we know if they learn it?
- How will we respond when some students do not learn?
- How will we extend the learning for students who are already proficient?
Throughout the year, exciting things are happening in our classrooms and around the school! We encourage you to get involved by joining our parent groups, volunteering at school activities, and taking an active role in your child's education. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher, our office staff, or school administrators with any questions or comments. We are here to partner with you to ensure your child has an enjoyable and successful school year!
